Qualifications

• High School Diploma or USA equivalency required.
• Associate Degree or 48 college credit hours or pass an academic assessment preferred.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate preferred or required by district policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in intensified learning experiences for students in assigned area.
• Assist teacher with student arrival and departure management.
• Provide non-instructional support to certified staff.
• Tutor students individually or in small groups.
• Supervise students in classrooms and common areas (hall, lunchroom, etc.).
• Help maintain administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Copy, organize, and file materials for students.
• Assist with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
