• Associate’s degree in education or related field preferred.
• Certification in child first aid and CPR.
• At least one year of relevant experience in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate collaboration.
• Multitask effectively and prioritize tasks by importance and deadlines.
• Complete Safe Environment training and pass a background check.
• Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in supervising and instructing students.
• Help shape a school-wide culture that fosters productive learning.
• Prepare materials for lessons, demonstrations, and bulletin boards.
• Provide active supervision in classrooms, playgrounds, and field trips.
• Support students with assistive devices and campus initiatives.
