Job summary

Capital City Sports Academy in Columbus, Ohio is looking for an Instructional Aide to assist the Teacher in classroom activities and to promote positive student behaviors. The role includes supporting lessons, performing clerical duties, and maintaining classroom cleanliness.

Candidates should have an Associate degree or equivalent, be proficient in MS Office, and possess excellent communication skills. Starting pay is $15.00/hour along with other benefits including paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office is required.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check is mandatory.
• Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher with classroom activities.
• Support lessons taught to individual or groups of students.
• Perform clerical duties such as grading papers and making copies.
• Help maintain cleanliness of classroom and school areas.
