Job summary

As a Teacher’s Aide or Educational Instructional Aide, you will work with teachers to create a positive, engaging learning environment, supporting student growth and collaboration within a school team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ParaPro Certification and/or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Prior experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families.
• Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral support is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with daily lessons and instructional activities.
• Help maintain a structured, organized, student-centered classroom.
• Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the day.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed.
• Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence.
• Communicate student progress and concerns with teachers and staff as appropriate.
