The role includes safety oversight and supporting the School Leader in line with ACCEL Schools policies.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or college coursework, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to handle confidential information while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework or the Paraprofessionals Exam.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Passage of the Paraprofessionals Exam.
• BCI/FBI check completed.
• Ability to meet educational standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher with lessons and support individual or small groups.
• Plan classroom activities and support teacher in student/parent relations.
• Assist with school activities and events (meetings, assemblies, fundraisers).
• Perform clerical duties (grading, copying).
• Assist with classroom technology usage.
• Help keep classroom and lunchroom clean and organized.
• Adhere to school philosophy and mission statement.
