ACCEL Schools is seeking a 1:1 Instructional Aide for Eastern Panhandle Preparatory Academy (EPPA) in Kearneysville, WV. The role supports teachers, assists with classroom activities, and helps maintain a positive school climate on a PK-8 campus.

The candidate should have an associate degree or equivalent, be proficient in MS Office, and pass a background check. This on-site position offers opportunities to support student learning and participate in school events.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, two years of college coursework, or passage of the Paraprofessional's Exam.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check.
• Ability to meet educational standards as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups.
• Helps plan classroom activities and supports the Teacher in student/parent relations.
• Assists with school activities (e.g., events, faculty meetings, assemblies, field trips).
• Performs clerical duties (grading papers, copying).
• Assists the Teacher in the use of classroom technology.
• Maintains classroom and lunchroom cleanliness.
• Adheres to school philosophy and mission.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned (e.g., duty stations).
