Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 48 college hours (2 years) or an Associate's Degree or higher, or approved state tests.
• Progress in instructional training opportunities or willingness to pursue.
• Substitute teaching or teaching assistance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists children in classrooms with instructional tasks.
• Supports classroom management to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Complies with safety and school policies and regulations.
• Assists with classroom coverage to foster student safety.
• Maintains ethical behavior and confidentiality of student information.
• Other duties as assigned.
