Job summary

EtonHouse International Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a Class Teacher to nurture young learners in an inclusive, inquiry-based environment. You will plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that respect diverse backgrounds and promote independent thinking.

Collaboration with the Principal and staff is essential to develop assessment procedures, reports and family engagement while maintaining a supportive, well-organised classroom in a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood or Education from a recognised university.
• Teachers Certificates or other accreditation if the degree is not in Education.
• IB PYP course and training are highly valued.
• Willingness to learn inquiry based learning and provide authentic documentation.
• International experience, especially in Asia, is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Respect and value each child’s social, cultural and religious background and model mutual respect.
• Share in the management of pastoral care, health, welfare and behaviour of all pupils.
• Undertake teaching of a class in line with school policies and guidelines.
• Use diverse teaching methods to ensure high quality learning.
• Provide planning documents with objectives, differentiation and assessment.
• Maintain professional dialogue and confidentiality with colleagues.
• Ensure equal opportunities for all and foster a caring community.
• Collaborate with Principal and staff on pupil assessment and moderation portfolios.
• Build positive links with parents and support classroom helpers.
