Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Associates degree or 60 sem hours or ParaPro exam to meet highly qualified requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide student assistance by supporting individuals or small groups.
• Assist the teacher in devising strategies and managing instructional materials.
• Supervise students during drills, field trips, and activities; help maintain classroom environment.
• Support and assist with record keeping and documentation of student performance.
• Read to students and engage them in reading activities; assist in the library or media center.
