Job summary

LEARN Charter School Network is seeking an Instructional Assistant for daily classroom support at LEARN 7 Campus in Chicago, IL. The role involves providing high-quality instruction in small groups under the Classroom Teacher, and building ongoing relationships with families and the community.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree or 60+ college credits, with a preference for bilingual applicants and at least 1 year of classroom experience, showcasing a record of boosting student

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan classroom instruction with Classroom Teacher.
• Monitor students’ behavior and academic achievement; set expectations.
• Supervise students during recess and lunch; maintain safe environment.
• Intervene to prevent disruption; support respectful interactions.
• Plan and execute whole/small group instruction using assessments for differentiated instruction.
• In the Classroom Teacher’s absence, assume classroom responsibilities.
