Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent with training to support classroom activities.
• Strong office computer and communication skills, oral and written.
• Knowledge of child guidance principles and basic subject areas taught in District schools.

Responsibilities

• Assist a certificated teacher by reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups.
• Help students complete assignments, provide guidance and support.
• Perform clerical duties such as preparing instructional materials, typing, duplicating, and filing.
• Assist teachers with lesson plans and ensure student understanding of tasks.
