Job summary

Southwest Allen County Schools in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Classroom Assistant to support the Classroom Teacher or Special Education Teacher. You will help with assignments, prepare instructional materials, and follow the teacher’s directions to assist diverse learners.

Qualifications

Completion of two years of study (60+ hours) at an institution of higher education or possession of an associate’s degree is preferred.

Initiative, dependability, patience, and respect for student diversity are important.

Responsibilities

Assist with assignments and prepare instructional materials according to the teacher’s direction.
Provide support to the teacher and carry out other duties as determined by the advising teacher.
