Job summary

Monahans--wickett--pyote-Isd is seeking an instructional aide to support students under a certified teacher's supervision. You will help prepare lessons, assist with classroom displays, and participate in testing administration.

You will supervise students throughout the day and assist with materials, records, and reports in a collaborative school setting. Strong communication and child interaction skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of higher education encouraged.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate required.
• Experience with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests or work assignments.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Help teacher keep administrative records and reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Help supervise students during lunch, bus, and recess.
• Participate in staff development and faculty events.
