Qualifications

• 48 college credits hours required.
• One year virtual learning technology experience if assigned to Virtual Academy.

Responsibilities

• Substitute in absence of teacher following lesson plans across curriculum.
• Extend lesson plans and maintain daily instruction during absences.
• Provide relief time to teachers for planning periods and conferences.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating instructional lessons.
• Work with teachers on special projects and assignments.
• Prepare instructional materials such as posters, charts, and game materials.
• Set up learning centers and assist students facing difficulties.
• Attend and participate in staff development activities.
