Job summary

Greenway Elementary is seeking an Instructional Aide to assist teachers in maintaining a positive, organized classroom environment and to support student learning across the instructional program.

The role includes aiding lesson preparation, materials development, testing support, and small-group or 1-on-1 instruction to reinforce concepts. Strong communication, confidentiality, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, plus one of: associate degree or higher, 60 college credits, or passing a paraprofessional assessment.
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Previous classroom instruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in maintaining an effective learning environment
• Assist in lesson preparations and materials
• Help with instructional materials and testing
• Supervise students and support classroom management
• Participate in professional development activities
• Perform routine clerical tasks as assigned
• Contribute to individualized instruction with small groups or 1-on-1 guidance
