Job summary

Leidos Dynetics in Huntsville, AL, seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support classified information systems and cybersecurity operations. The role encompasses RMF lifecycle activities, security control assessment, and documentation across the BoE with guidance from the ISSM.

You will work with IT, engineering, and program teams to maintain authorizations, monitor security controls, and support incident response in a DCSA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with cybersecurity/IT experience or related field.
• Familiarity with RMF, DCWF qualification requirements, and DoD standards.
• Knowledge of RMF lifecycle, control implementation, assessment, or continuous monitoring.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux security concepts and configurations.
• Ability to document findings and support remediation activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform security monitoring and compliance reviews of classified systems.
• Develop, review, and maintain authorization artifacts and evidence.
• Assess and monitor security controls per approved plans and procedures.
• Conduct technical security assessments including STIG/SCAP and vulnerability scans.
• Document findings and coordinate with teams for remediation.
• Review configuration management requests and ensure proper documentation.
• Support periodic assessments to validate continued compliance.
• Review security audit information and SIEM logs.
• Engage in incident response activities under supervision.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation and guidance.
