Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent teaching experience preferred.
• Previous experience teaching private classical guitar lessons.
• Strong classical guitar performance skills.

• Passion for teaching students of all ages and abilities.
• Reliable availability during scheduled teaching days.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, high-quality private classical guitar instruction to children, teens, and adults.
• Teach 30, 45, and 60-minute private lessons.
• Prepare students for performances, recitals, auditions, and personal musical goals.
• Build positive relationships with students and families that support long-term musical growth.
• Encourage participation in recitals, camps, ensembles, and other school programs that enrich the student experience.
• Maintain accurate lesson notes and communicate student progress when appropriate.
• Participate in faculty meetings, recitals, and other school activities as requested.
