Baltimore School of Music is seeking a passionate Piano Teacher to join our growing faculty and inspire students of all ages in a collaborative, student-centered environment.

The role involves teaching private piano lessons (30, 45, and 60 minutes), preparing students for performances, and building strong relationships with families to support ongoing musical growth. We offer paid time off, SIMPLE IRA, scheduling support, and a steady stream of new student referrals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous private piano teaching experience.
• Bachelor's degree in music or equivalent teaching experience preferred; current students encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, high-quality private piano instruction to children, teens, and adults.
• Teach 30, 45, and 60-minute private lessons.
• Prepare students for performances, recitals, auditions, and personal musical goals.
• Build positive relationships with students and families that support long-term musical growth.
• Encourage participation in recitals, camps, ensembles, and other school programs.
• Maintain accurate lesson notes and communicate student progress when appropriate.
• Participate in faculty meetings, recitals, and other school activities as requested.
