The role emphasizes virtue, classical curricula, and strong classroom management for about 20–27 students, within a supportive team and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Texas certification in the subject to be taught is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with ExCET/TExES passing score is required.
• Degree with core subject hours or a relevant field is preferred.
• Professional letter of recommendation from former employer or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons and instruct using classical traditional methods.
• Assign lessons and correct classwork and homework promptly.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and report progress to parents.
• Provide academic interventions for struggling students.
• Maintain grades and parent communication through the school system.
• Maintain a disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with Special Education and 504 teachers for accommodations.
• Participate in faculty meetings, trainings, and student activities.
