Job summary

Central Michigan University is seeking a Coordinator - Recruitment for the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. You will plan and staff undergraduate recruitment events, work with CMU Admissions, Advising, and Online programs, and coordinate communications to prospective students and families across campus.

The role requires 1) a Bachelor's degree and 2) strong interpersonal, scheduling, and event-planning skills to advance CLASS enrollment goals; evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to articulate the focus and value of college programs.
• Effective written and verbal communications with prospective students and campus partners.
• Ability to plan and execute multiple events with deadlines.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and collaborate across units.
• Knowledge of higher education admissions, enrollment management, and student success.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and staff CLASS recruiting and yield events.
• Chairs the college Recruitment Committee and represents CLASS at admissions events.
• Serve as the primary liaison to CMU Admissions and coordinate with campus units.
• Maintain prospective-student communications and recruitment data.
• Coordinate campus visits and individualized experiences for prospective students.
