Worthington School District 518 is seeking a Class I Paraprofessional to assist in the educational support of students under the supervision of the building administrator and guidance from the classroom teacher. You will monitor students, support behavior and discipline needs, and reinforce academic material introduced by the teacher.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or college degree) or passing the ParaEducator Assessment on hire.
Under the direction of the building administrator and with guidance from the classroom teacher, a Class I Paraprofessional performs a variety of duties involved in the educational support of students. The Paraprofessional monitors students, supports in behavior and discipline needs, and works with students to reinforce academic material that is introduced by the teacher.
Must have a High School Diploma/GED and or College Degree. Or must be able to pass the ParaEducator Assessment upon hire.
