Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines is seeking Class C or B local pickup and delivery / box truck drivers to join our team. You will drive 24’, 26’, and 28’ bobtails to customers with a focus on safety and reliability. The company offers paid training and a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off.

The role requires at least 21 years of age and a valid DOT Medical Certification, plus a clean driving record. You must communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and dispatchers to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid DOT Medical Certification.
• No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in past 3 years.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bobtail trucks of different sizes.
• Adapt to inclement weather and varying road conditions.
• Meet reliability standards set by the company.
• Chain as needed and work in inclement weather.
• Availability to work weekends and/or nights if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

This position involves driving 24’, 26’ and a 28’ bobtails to make pick up and deliveries at our customers locations. Oak Harbor Freight Lines offers and internal, get paid while training program for those interested in becoming a Class A Driver. The drivers work Monday – Friday with weekends off.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid DOT Medical Certification
• Must have a clean driving record. No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past 3 years
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate bobtail trucks of different sizes
• Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions
• Ability to meet the company’s reliability standards for employees
• Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather as required
• Availability to work weekends and / or nights if needed
