Job summary

Ceres Environmental Operations is seeking a Water Truck Driver (Class B) to safely transport and distribute water for dust control and site maintenance at on-site project locations in Sarasota, FL. The role reports to the Field Supervisor/Operations Manager and offers growth and travel opportunities.

Requires a CDL with Class B or A endorsements and at least 2 years of water truck experience in active construction or disaster recovery environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating water trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid CDL with Class B or Class A endorsements; knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as project needs require.

Responsibilities

• Operate water truck safely to supply dust control across project sites.
• Perform pre-trip and daily vehicle inspections; ensure proper working condition.
• Monitor water levels and coordinate with field crews for watering schedules.
• Maintain logs of vehicle use and maintenance; report issues promptly.
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed.
