Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company in Weaverville, NC is seeking a Delivery Driver to serve local retail customers. No CDL required; Class A or B is a plus. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is paid in installments during the first 6 months and contingent on meeting attendance expectations.

Delivery will cover the Asheville/Weaverville area. Responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service, delivering to club stores and specialty wine shops, checking in merchandise, and maintaining route

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Active Class B CDL license.
• Must be 21+ and eligible for ABC permit.
• Good motor vehicle record for last 3 years.
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.

• Check-in merchandise and maintain route associated paperwork.
• Perform pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections and clean interior and exterior of truck.
• Assist other drivers on routes as needed.

Join Johnson Brothers as a Non-CDL Driver in the Asheville/Weaverville area. Bonus is paid in installments during your first 6 months and is contingent upon meeting attendance expectations.

Delivery Driver will make deliveries to local retail customers, grocery stores, restaurants within the surrounding area. CDL license is not required, however, Class A or B is a plus.

Driver Swingman assists in the delivery process by covering open routes and making pallet deliveries to retail customers within the surrounding market. 1-3 years previous route delivery experience is preferred.

Job Requirements

• Must be 21 years old and must qualify for an ABC permit.
• Good motor vehicle record for the last 3 years.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner; comply with driver guidelines.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to work assigned hours and days as business needs dictate.

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check.
