Job summary

Johnson Brothers is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to serve the Asheville/Weaverville area. Deliveries to local retailers, grocery stores, and restaurants, with no CDL required (Class A or B a plus). A $1,500 sign-on bonus is paid in installments during the first 6 months and contingent on attendance.

Responsibilities include customer service, route deliveries, pre/post-trip inspections, and helping other drivers as needed. Must have a Class B CDL license, be 21+, and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Must have an active Class B CDL license.
• Must be 21 years old and must qualify for an ABC permit.
• Good motor vehicle record for the last 3 years.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner; comply with driver guidelines.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to work assigned hours and days as business needs dictate.
• Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check.

Delivery Driver will make deliveries to local retail customers, grocery stores, restaurants within the surrounding area. CDL license is not required, however, Class A or B is a plus.

Driver Swingman assists in the delivery process by covering open routes and making pallet deliveries to retail customers within the surrounding market. 1-3 years previous route delivery experience is preferred.
