Job summary

Luxury Auto Mall of Sioux Falls seeks an experienced Service Technician (Class B) who can diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems with minimal supervision. The role requires strong communication with the parts department and attention to detailed repair orders.

You will participate in manufacturer training, stay current with technical bulletins, and help maintain a clean, safe shop environment while following FRFT guidelines and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems following dealership standards.
• Diagnose problems from customer complaints and inspections.
• Maintain vehicle inspection and repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for safety or additional work and report needs to Service Advisor.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required or refer to test technician.
• Participate in manufacturer training programs and stay updated on bulletins.
• Maintain and use dealership-owned tools and keep the work area clean.
• Adhere to FRFT and safety standards; follow regulatory guidance.
