Job summary

Lithia & Driveway Suburban Mazda of Troy is hiring Service Technicians. We seek Class B and/or C technicians with 2-5 years of dealership or private shop experience, ASE certifications, and capable use of scan tools and service information systems.

You will diagnose malfunctions, perform brake, suspension and steering repairs, engine maintenance, and electrical diagnostics. Road-test cars, document work, and maintain tool inventory as part of a fast-paced, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of dealership or private shop experience.
• Up-to-date ASE and manufacturer certifications.
• Experience using scan tools and service information systems.
• Ability to independently perform brake, suspension and steering repairs.
• Proficient in engine maintenance and basic electrical diagnostics.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose malfunction causes and complete all work per applicable safety requirements and manufacturer standards.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair orders, recording test procedures and time per procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining an inventory of commonly used tools.
