Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class B license to service the Baltimore, MD area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver excellent customer service daily.

Responsibilities include driving a 26 ft box truck, delivering throughout MD/DC/DE/VA, and ensuring DOT compliance and safety inspections. This full-time role offers 40–50 hours per week with a $27/hour base pay and a $3,000 new hire

Qualifications

• Valid Class B license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box trucks.
• Experience with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Touch freight experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver throughout MD/DC/DE/VA.
• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Safely collect and deliver medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load, unload, and organize the truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations and inspections.
• Assist with pushing/pulling heavy carts up to 200 lbs.
• Maintain a professional demeanor with customers.
• Ensure accurate logging and adherence to route plans.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer‑focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Baltimore, MD area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

Location: 1811 Portal St, Baltimore, MD 21224

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Delivering throughout MD/DC/DE/VA
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading, unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four‑wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7‑Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can‑do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
