Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a driver in Memphis, TN with a Class B license to operate a 26 ft box truck for medical waste collection and delivery. You will interact with healthcare customers, ensure safe loading/unloading, and adhere to DOT requirements while maintaining excellent service.

The role offers steady hours (M-F, 5AM-3PM), a full-time schedule, and a stated pay rate of $24.50 per hour. Prior DOT experience and a clean record are preferred for longevity with the company.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B license with a clean driving record.
• DOT medical card required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 26 ft box truck.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Familiar with DOT regulations, logging hours, and roadside inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.

• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Meet delivery schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load and unload and organize the truck per schedule needs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Memphis, TN area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
