Daniels Health in Taylor, MI is seeking a Class B driver to safely collect and deliver medical waste containers and provide exceptional customer service along the route. The role offers autonomy, stable hours, OT opportunities, and a modern fleet with comprehensive PPE and training.

The position requires a CDL B license, 40 hours per week, and adherence to DOT rules. Expect 26 ft box trucks, regular pre/post-trip checks, and a $25/hour pay with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CDL B license required.
• Delivery experience preferred with any industry.
• Willingness to work full-time (~40 hours/week).
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Passing the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Flexible, customer-focused, and reliable.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26 ft box trucks.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Comfort with road checks at levels 1–3.
• Proven longevity and punctual delivery history.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused Class B driver operate a truck across the Taylor, MI area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some OT and good benefits. Our vehicle fleet is modern and well-maintained. What will your job involve?

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading | Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting
• Consistently lifting up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting of 50-75 lbs
• Pushing/or pulling of 100-250 lbs, as applicable to the role

What are we looking for?

• CDL B License Required
• Delivery experience within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling (advantageous not mandatory)
• Willingness to work full time hours, approx. 40 hours a week
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks)
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• On time delivery practices

• Competitive salary –This position is offering a set rate (non-negotiable) $25 per hour

This position is offering a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires. $1k paid after 30 days of employment and $2k paid after 90 days of employment!
