Job summary

Daniels Health is hiring a driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Allensville, KY area, delivering medical waste containers and collecting sharps from healthcare locations. You will maintain safety and customer service standards while adhering to schedules.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ delivery experience, a valid DOT medical card, and DOT/log hours knowledge. First shift, 5:30 AM to 3 PM with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years delivery experience with a 26 ft box truck.
• Valid DOT Medical Card required.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logging hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Collect and deliver medical waste containers to customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships.
• Adhere to schedules and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations and conduct roadside inspections.
• Push/pull up to 200 lbs cart.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with box truck (26 feet)experience to deliver our product across the Allensville, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What will your job involve?

• Operating26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 YEARS Delivery experience within a 26 foot box truck and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Passing our 7 Year MVR review
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
