Daniels Health in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a driver to operate a 26 ft box truck, collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and delivering excellent customer service daily.

This full-time role offers a set rate of $24.00 per hour, primarily on a Monday–Friday schedule (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM) with opportunities for overtime and a focus on safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years delivery experience with a 26 ft box truck.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Touch freight experience.
• Strong customer focus and reliable work history.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26 ft box truck safely.
• Collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build relationships.
• Meet delivery times and communicate any changes.
• Load/unload and organize the truck per schedule.
• Comply with DOT regulations, log hours and roadside inspections.
• Push/pull a 200 lb cart.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the West Palm Beach, FL area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily!

What will your job involve?

• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 YEARS Delivery experience within a 26 foot box truck and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
