Job summary

Charlie’s Produce is seeking a delivery driver to safely and efficiently deliver produce to customers throughout the Boise region. You will check invoices, assist with credits, and provide superior service at each delivery.

Requirements include a valid Class B CDL and medical card, 23+ years old, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a satisfactory driving record. This is a safety-sensitive role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements.
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class B CDL and medical card Interstate qualification, registered.
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift.
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English.
• Satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and efficient produce to Boise region customers.
• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
• Palletized product will be delivered to customers with hand truck.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues.
• All other duties as requested or assigned.
