Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. (AWG) is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Springfield, MO. This role requires Hazmat and Air Brakes endorsements and the ability to read and write English.

You will load, unload, move and deliver gas and liquid cylinders to customers and branches, ensuring accurate paperwork and compliance with SOPs and DOT/OSHA regulations. Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or ability to obtain both endorsements.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and storage of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; deliveries to customers or branches; complete delivery tickets accurately.
• Read, understand and follow SOPs.
• Comply with DOT+OSHA regulations.
• Move, load and unload cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate paperwork including shipping papers and delivery tickets.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG")has an immediate opportunity for Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Springfield, MO. This position requires a Class B CDL with Air Brakes & HazMat endorsements.

Duties:This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
