Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc is seeking a Delivery Driver with a CDL-B license to join our Bozeman, MT team. The role requires Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely handle cylinders, paperwork, and customer deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements or the ability to obtain both endorsements.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow all SOPs.
• Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Move, load, and unload cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and complete paperwork including shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties:

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical requirements:

• Lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling
• Driving vehicle
• Repetitive movement
• Operating motorized equipment
• Sitting; standing; walking
• Working at increased noise levels

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
