Job summary

Imperial Brady in Mabelvale, AR is seeking a Class B Delivery Driver to run a daily route with a 24' box truck. Responsibilities include loading/unloading with a pallet jack and lift gate, maintaining an activity log, and delivering to customer sites with exceptional service.

The role requires a valid CDL-B, ability to pass a DOT medical exam, a good driving record, and 1 year of CDL-B and route delivery experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM start, until finish.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL-B license.
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam.
• Clean driving record is required.
• 1 year of CDL-B experience and 1 year of route delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations on a daily route.
• Load and unload cargo with hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Properly track and document the activity log and report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers with a positive, professional attitude.

Job description

The Class B Delivery Driverwill be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM to finish.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24' box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver's license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
