Job summary

Imperial Brady in Chattanooga is seeking a Class B Delivery Driver to join our transportation team. You will handle daily routes, deliver products to customer locations, and provide friendly service.

The position runs Monday through Friday starting at 7 am. You will operate a 24' box truck, load/unload using pallet jack and lift gate, and maintain accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL B).
• Must pass DOT medical exam.
• Good driving record.
• 1 year of CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24' box truck of 26,000 pounds GVW.
• Load and unload cargo via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Track and document the activity log.
• Report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers with a positive attitude.

The Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7 am to finish.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24' box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver's license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
