American Welding and Gas, Inc. (AWG) seeks a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Rock Hill, SC.

The role requires Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements or the ability to obtain them, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy gas cylinders safely. Responsibilities include reading SOPs, complying with DOT/OSHA regulations, loading/unloading cylinders, handling paperwork, and maintaining a clean vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL required with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsement or ability to obtain both endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow SOPs.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Move, load, and unload cylinders safely.
• Prepare and complete paperwork including shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Rock Hill, SC. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Air Brake endorsements.

Duties:

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations.
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Air brake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
