Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks a Class B CDL Driver to load, deliver and handle gas and liquid cylinders. Endorsements Hazmat, Tanker & Airbrake or the ability to obtain within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and store gas and liquid cylinders and other hard goods; deliver to customers or branches and complete delivery tickets.
• Read, understand and follow all SOPs; comply with DOT+OSHA regulations.
• Move, load and unload cylinders safely and efficiently; maintain paperwork accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle; perform other duties as assigned.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for a Class B CDL Driver in Orlando, FL. This position requires a Class A CDL with HazMat ,Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements. Incentives Include

Duties: This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned
