Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc (AWG) is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Springfield, MO. The role requires Hazmat and Air Brakes endorsements and involves loading, delivering cylinders and other goods, and completing delivery paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and store gas and liquid cylinders and other hard goods.
• Deliver to customers or other branches and complete delivery tickets accurately.
• Read, understand and follow SOPs; comply with DOT+OSHA regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform duties as assigned.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. (\"AWG\")has an immediate opportunity for Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Springfield, MO.This position requires a Class B CDL with Air Brakes & HazMat endorsements.

Duties:This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
