Job summary

American Welding and Gas, Inc. in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Delivery Driver with a CDL-B license to join our team. Read SOPs, comply with DOT/OSHA regs, and safely move cylinders while handling paperwork. Monday–Friday schedule with home every night and a strong benefits package.

Eligible candidates have a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements (or able to obtain), a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy cylinders. Pre-employment screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements or ability to obtain both.
• Clean driving record and ability to read/write English.
• Able to lift 50–75 lb and move 100+ lb cylinders with equipment.
• Successful pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow SOPs.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Load/unload cylinders safely and accurately.
• Prepare and complete shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform other duties as assigned.

$2500 Sign On Bonus Available.

Duties:

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations.
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements:

• Lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, crouching, kneeling.
• Driving vehicle.
• Repetitive movement.
• Operating motorized equipment.
• Sitting; standing; walking.
• Working indoor/outdoor as business needs.
• Working at increased noise levels.
• Safety hazards.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
