Class B CDL Company Truck Driver/Smash Operator Local Routes

Join us at Smash My Trash as a Class B CDL Company Truck Driver/Smash Operator for local routes in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Job Details

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $25.00/hr - $27.00/hr + Bonus Opportunities

Responsibilities

1. Operate trucks safely, including a 25,000-pound Kenworth T270.
2. Use hydraulic equipment to compact waste efficiently.
3. Utilize smartphone apps for route tracking and activity logging.
4. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
5. Maintain cleanliness and perform minor truck maintenance.
6. Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL license.
• Minimum of 3 years CDL driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Ability to pass a 5-year background check.
• Proficiency with smartphones and mobile apps.
• Ability to operate hydraulic machinery; diesel mechanic or hydraulic system experience is a plus.
