Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a CLASS A Yard Switcher in Alabama. The role operates on a 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, with coverage needs for 2nd or 3rd shift. Pay is hourly at $23/hour, with benefits after 90 days, in a dynamic transportation and logistics environment.

Candidates must hold a valid AL Class A CDL, have a clean driving record, and possess a current DOT medical card. Yard switcher experience of 3 months or tractor/trailer experience of 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Valid AL Class A CDL license is required.
• Minimum 3 months yard switcher experience or 6 months tractor/trailer experience.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Current DOT Medical Card is required.
• Criminal Background Check will be conducted.

Universal Logistics is seeking a CLASS A Yard Switcher! 1st shift hours: 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday. This position is REQUIRED to cover 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:30pm or 3rdshift 10pm to 6:30amas needed.

Pay Rate: $23/hour
