Job summary

Universal Logistics in Alabama is hiring a CLASS A Yard Switcher with first shift 6am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday, and coverage for 2nd/3rd shifts as needed. Pay rate is $23/hour.

Benefits after 90 days include BCBS medical, dental, and vision, plus 401K and time off. The position requires a valid AL Class A CDL, 3 months yard switcher or 6 months tractor/trailer experience, a clean driving record, and current DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Valid AL Class A CDL license is required (will have to be able to go offsite to get fuel).
• Minimum 3 months yard switcher experience or 6 months of tractor/trailer experience.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Current DOT Medical Card and background check required.

Universal Logistics is seeking a CLASS A Yard Switcher! 1st shift hours: 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday. This position is REQUIRED to cover 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:30pm or 3rdshift 10pm to 6:30amas needed.

Pay Rate: $23/hour
