Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class A Dry Van Driver to join their safety-focused team in Reidsville, NC. The route covers Reidsville, NC to the Southeast, averaging about 2,500 miles per week.

Drivers earn $90,000-$115,000 per year with a $7,500 sign-on bonus, weekly home time, and compensation includes hourly on-duty time and mileage pay. Comprehensive benefits and 401K are available after 30 days of full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• HazMat endorsement required.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow all safety policies.
• Operate tractor-trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper unit utilization.
• Load and unload hazardous/non-hazardous waste and secure loads.
• Placard vehicle per DOT requirements and maintain records.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
