Job summary

American Driver is hiring for Class A Trucker - Trainees & Experienced Welcome with a fixed regional operation and predictable income. Expect weekly gross between $1,300 and $1,500, plus mileage rate $0.56–$0.64 CPM as tenure grows.

Mentorship phase lasts 4–5 weeks, orientation paid, and you'll drive a late-model tractor on dry van loads with minimal docking delays. Home time and paid time off are emphasized.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required and valid DOT medical card.
• Experience welcome; trucking school grads considered.
• Mentored transition with paid training program.

Responsibilities

• Operate a late-model Freightliner or Kenworth tractor from day one.
• Pull dry van trailers with no special endorsements.
• No driver cargo handling; all freight handled by staff.
• Weekly schedule with 2,000–2,400 miles; work with load planner.
