Job summary

American Driver in Florida offers a Class A Truck Driver Paid Trainee Program that pairs new CDL holders with experienced highway mentors, guarantees weekly pay from week one, and provides reliable bi-weekly home rotations to help you balance life on the road.

During 4–6 weeks of over-the-road instruction on regional dry-van routes, you’ll operate late-model tractors, work no-touch freight, and access premium incentives that push weekly earnings beyond base pay.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Class A CDL
• Age 21+ at enrollment
• Certificate of completion from a certified truck driving academy (120 clock-hour)
• Successful DOT physical, hair and urine drug tests
• Clean background with no SAP tracking or DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years

Responsibilities

• Operate regional dry van routes with no-touch freight
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations
• Coordinate with dispatch for efficient routing
• Adhere to safety and performance standards
