Job summary

American Driver is seeking drivers to operate a late‑model tractor within fixed regional corridors. You will haul dry van freight with no driver touch and work with a dedicated load planner to maintain steady weekly miles.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL‑A license.
• Trucking school graduate or at least 6 months of verifiable tractor‑trailer time.
• DOT physical and pre‑employment substance screen completed.
• Driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Zero drug or alcohol driving convictions (DUI/DWI) within the last 36 months.
• Background check clear of felony convictions for the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate your own late‑model tractor (Freightliner or Kenworth) and pull dry van trailers.
• No driver touch: cargo handling is performed by others.
• Follow fixed regional corridors and drop & hook freight to minimize delays.
• Work with a dedicated load planner and maintain on‑time deliveries.
