Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with required endorsements.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training is expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with respect and courtesy.
• Inspect vehicle for safety and required equipment; perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods and ensure cargo is secure.
• Secure cargo using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, or covers.
• Read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions with guidance.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage.
• Obtain receipts/signatures for delivered goods and collect payments when required.
• Check load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Operate truck cab computer, GPS, and other equipment to share information.
• Load/unload trucks as needed and maintain safe working practices.
• Adhere to all company policies and safe driving standards.
