We are seeking an experienced and professional Class A Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate roll-off trucks and end dumps to load, transport, and deliver waste materials to designated disposal sites. The role involves handling both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety standards. Approximately 80% of driving is intrastate, with the remaining 20% being interstate.

Responsibilities

• Pick up materials and goods in one location and transport to another location.
• Operate a roll-off truck and doubler roll-off trailer
• Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance
• Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel
• Maintain detailed driving log, including work periods, rest periods, and fuel expenses
• Comply with all company policies and driving laws

Qualifications

• Commercial Class A Driver’s License with Hazardous Materials and Tanker Endorsements (California).
• Valid Medical Certificate: Current and up to date.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Commercial Class A driver.
• HAZWOPER Certification: Must have a current 40-hour Operational Hazmat Technician training or 8-hour annual refresher (OSHA 1910.120).
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR): Must maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Availability: Must have reliable transportation to the company terminal.
• Physical Requirements: Must pass a road test and meet all DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
• Drug Screening: Pass a pre-employment DOT drug test.

Compensation

$30.00 - $37.50 per hour
